The Pulse of Queer Denton

This photo series captures Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studios as a vital queer space in Denton, where joy, self-expression, and chosen family flourish. Influenced by Nan Goldin and Paris is Burning, the work blends portraiture and documentary photography to reflect the emotional depth and authenticity of queer community. More than a venue, Rubber Gloves emerges as a sanctuary of connection, resistance, and cultural survival.
